Half Japanese and half Chinese, Yuki Yasukagawa has often found inspiration from merging cultures together, whilst creating a sense of authenticity, timeless comfort and beauty. As creative director at Design East, she has built a reputation for her meticulous restaurant designs, most notably the flagship of 3 Michelin starred chef, Araki San from Tokyo. The intimate omakase restaurant is booked months in advance.
Yuki began her journey at The University of Arts London, before joining Design East, founded by her father Yasuhiro Yasukagawa in Hong Kong in 1988 and now with branches in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. She is proud to be part of a family business that passes company values and design knowledge through the generations.
