I joined Aedas in 2011 and currently work as an Executive Director. I studied architecture at Shanghai Tongji University from 2004 to 2009 and received his bachelor`s degree in architecture in 2009. After that, I went to the design research laboratory in London Architectural Association School for further study and obtained a master`s degree of architecture and urban design in 2011. I am also a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and a registered architect in China.
Before joining Aedas, I participated in the design practice in some pioneer design institutions such as MADA s.p.a.m. and Tongji Design Laboratory, also joined in the design exchange in Kengo Kuma and Associates of University of Tokyo. These experiences enabled me to have the profound insight of the massive urban development in China.
I am confident to have strong desire to bring innovations into design practice. As a design leader, I am particularly interested in planning and design of urban complex, office and R&D park and high-end hotel projects; meanwhile, I am always passionate to explore unique ways of thinking and design pursuit for the design issues brought about by the high-speed urbanization and development of China. It is my conviction that successful architectural design balances innovation and technology, and is the perfect combination of rational objective needs and artistic spiritual aesthetics.
In addition to the design work at Aedas, I am also an enthusiastic participant in various architectural societies inculding the RIBA China Chapter, the alumni association for both Tongji and AA. Since 2021 I have also been a visiting lecturer in Tongji University on Master degree programmes.
